The next person in my list is Kenn Tai. Kenn was the main person who got me into the world of Music and jamming in Secondary school. He was the one who brought me to jamming and was the one who influenced me to listen to punk bands like All-time low, Mayday parade and so on. Although I have known him since lower Sec days, I only knew him well in the 2nd quarter of sec 3. We both went to James house to play guitar hero and the bus journey back home with Kenn was what made me really buddies with Kenn :) Kenn is a very unique person. I just seem to connect with him in almost everything. Even during jamming, we have this special connection which cannot be explained. Kenn also brought out the courage in me. He was the one who made me climb into an unfinished condo just to have the thrill of sneaking in. Without Kenn's motivation, I wouldn't have gone in. In simpler terms, Kenn was the one who made me courageous in many ways. We also mostly shared memories outside of school. I remember the many days long ago where I would go to Kenn's house and we would both just do our homework together. That was the first time I could do my homework with a friend and complete it. Kenn is a man of his words and when he says something, he means it. Kenn was also the one who introduced me to the famous Bugis Chicken rice. I am so glad he did because I enjoyed every part of it. The most memorable experience was when we all went to Genting together. That was the peak of our friendship. Kenn ensured we had fun there and we did. Kenn was also the person who introduced me to a wonderful thing called BUTTERSCOTCH BREAD! It is simply a work of art and without Kenn, I wouldn't have got to enjoy it. The most saddest part of going on separate ways with Kenn is I will never again be able to take the long 51 and 196/198 bus ride home from school again. The bus rides were the ones which made Kenn and me best buddies as we shared our stories during the journey. Again, it is this small memories with Kenn that made me realize that I am blessed to be friends with such a talented individual. Thanks Kenn for introducing me to things in Life which I would have never knew if you were never part of my life. But most importantly, thanks for making my time in Tanglin such a wonderful one :)

The next individual is Bernard Cheo. Bernard is without the doubt the nicest and most kind person I have ever met in Tanglin. One glance at him and you wouldn't think he is much but when you get to know him, you will feel how great it is to be friends with him. I first got to know Bernard when it was sec 3. Although I knew him before that, we were close when it was sec 3. He didn't hang out with me in the first half of the year as he was with his old classmates most of the time. Soon after, he joined my group and we became friends. Bernard is never stengy. He will always lend you something if you needed it. For example, whenever I was short of cash, Bernard will always lend me and it is difficult to find good friends like this. Bernard was also the one who motivated me to do better. When Joshua told me that Bernard wanted to be a drummer after seeing me play, I got a sudden rush of motivation to do better. Bernard was also the person who brought us to Genting. Genting was one of the most memorable experiences of my teenage life so I would really like to thank you buddy for organising it. Bernard was also the one who could put a smile on my face. In genting, his jokes were so funny till my face was all crammed-up. Bernard was the funny dude in Genting. I will always remember the day in the pizzahut in genting where I laughed so much till I hit the waiter and all the drinks came crashing down! I will also never forget the day when Bernard, me and Kenn walked into a guitar shop and the guitar from the stands came crashing down! Bernard had to pay for the guitar since it was damaged. It was such a horrible experience but thanked god, it was a good guitar lol. But he should have dropped a bass guitar since he was a bassist! I will also never forget the days where we did our homework together at the park.. Good times.. haiz.. Its a pity it must end so fast... Yeah.. So thanks Bernard for making my time in Tanglin such a memorable one and may you be a great bassist one day! Strive for excellence dude. You can do it.
