Life in tanglin really changed me throughout these 4 years.. I have completely transformed into a better, more matured person through these 4 years. Ive grown to know more about life and how important friendship is. Right now, I would like to thank a few people for making Tanglin Life a memorable one. Firstly, Life in Tanglin wouldn't be complete without these two dudes, Lty and fir.
Lets start with the first one, Mr Lee Thern Yang. Lty was the rainbow and sunshine in my life. He was the only one who would cheer me up when im down and was the only one who really brightened up all my gloomy days. I only started knowing him towards the end of sec 3 but in only about a year, he has already created a huge impact in my life. Lty would always share his stories and secrets with me and he is clearly the most trustworthy person there is. He is a man of his words and every secret he keeps remains one till the end of time. He is the one who also made my life in Tanglin a memorable one.. I remember the times where we would purposely go for band late after focus, the times where we would play soccer together during P.E and also the good times we had while rehearsing for our Army skit for Racial harmony Day. Good times..
One of the most unforgettable experiences was when Lty brought me to his country club, Raffles Marina. That was the birthplace of the group 2cm( Me, Lty, Fir, James) and that was where we really bonded together. I could also remember when we had dinner there for his birthday and he kindly paid for everything. He was such a kind soul and I am grateful for having him in my life. I would also remember the times where Lty could be rather a nuisance when playing Left for dead but it is this small bittersweet moments which made us even closer. Nowadays, I would always chat with him on the phone for hours till the wee hours of the morning. Conversations with him just seem to flow so smoothly and he can really understand me. He is truly an all-rounded person whose purpose in life is just to motivate others and to be a pillar of strength in our lives by giving us a shoulder to depend on. Without Lty, my life in tanglin wouldn't have been so happening and fun. Lty was the only person who could take crude jokes and was the only one who really makes everyone have a good time. He is also very sporting and is never a wet blanket. Although we both have shared bitter times during these 2 years, it is the way we went through them together which made my life in Tanglin a pleasant experience. I will always remember you Lee thern yang. The leader, the golfer, the Mr cool, pantat babi, meatloaf.. but most importantly, my best buddy. :)

Next, Firdhouse! Ever since day one in mother tongue class, I was somehow happy to be friends with Firdhouse. He is a unique human being. There is no doubt that he was my main source of strength and survival in my Tanglin life. He was always there with me to lead me through thick and thin and he was the main person who made me look forward to another day of school. I could really feel the impact when I don't see Firdhouse in school the next day. Fir will always brighten up our class's spirits when we are down and his jokes never fail to leave a lasting smile on our faces. He was the main Joker in our class and without him, I think 4E4 will never have been how it is now. I believe that Fir was one of the few people in our class to bond us together. You tell me.. Which class has its own hand signs to suan other class? Remember the suck it hand signal??? Only our class had that "cheer". Fir was the creator of that. Fir was also the one who helped me break the ice between the others in my first day in 3E4. Fir was the one who introduced me to great people like Joshua Ting and my other classmates. Without him, I am not what I am today. I was shy when I was in sec 1 but Fir totally changed me and Im glad he did. Fir and I mostly shared memories of each other outside school. I would always stay over at his house and talked about a variety of topics, mostly school. I remember the times when I was at his house and we composed songs for the class chalet. It was so fun and funny. We also helped in planning the chalet together. Fir was also the one who made me feel happy about myself. His constant praises of my drumming made me feel motivated to do even better. He also taught me how to play soccer properly. I remember the old Fico days where he would train me to kick properly. Eventually, I did thanks to him. Fir was there in my life almost everyday, even slacking with my neighbourhood friends and staying over at their houses. Fir was also constantly supporting me in whatever I do for example, he supported me when I was competing in the Drumzout competition. He also followed me when I went for shows at Mediacorp. He was the most sociable and fun person I ever met in tanglin. Without him, I don't even think I would have made it in Secondary school life or at least enjoyed it.. I will also always remember you bro for your jokes and for always being there for me and supporting me all the way. May you be a great Musician and Beatboxer one day. THANKS DUDE.
